Grand Cross of Color

Dear Fellow Master,
This year our Annual Grand Cross of Color Banquets will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. On this date, the Masters of the Grand Cross of Color will have the opportunity to renew their Obligation of Service to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in appreciation of the honor bestowed upon them.
RESERVATIONS: Must include your name as it was signed in the Vow Book with your married name added (example: Betty Anderson Smith) the name and number of the Assembly where you were designated and a check payable to the person taking the reservations. If reservations are made for more than one Master, each name and Assembly name and number must be listed separately. Reservations close November 9th. Space may be limited so make your reservations early.
IDENTIFICATION: Grand Cross of Color Membership Card and a current dues card, Majority Certificate or Marriage Majority Certificate must be shown for admittance. Grand Cross of Color Medallion must be worn.
LOST MEMBERSHIP CARDS AND MEDALLIONS: If you lost either the Membership Card or the Medallion, you can get the proper form for replacement by doing the following: go on the www.gorainbow.org site, click on Q & A and the Alumni. The form you need will be listed here, it is ONLY a “pdf” file. You will be able to fill out the form and mail it back to Supreme Assembly. Please do this in a timely manner so that you will have the appropriate card or medallion.
DRESS CODE: No pant suits for women and girls. Jacket and tie for men.
Hosting a Banquet for 2014: If you and the other Masters of your Assembly would like to host a banquet next year, you do not need the permission of the Advisory Board. You and the other Masters of your Assembly would be the Committee. A Rainbow Girl may not serve as Chairperson.

We sincerely hope that the attendance at the banquets this year will be larger than the previous years. A hearty ”thank you” to all for making the banquets possible.
